We had the pleasure of interviewing Lara Azzopardi, the brains behind the blog 'Lara's Pint of Style'. We wanted to know a little bit more about her life as a lifestyle and fashion blogger.

Even though many might not know there is a theory about what influencers do! 


So what is it?

It’s the Two-step flow of Communication Theory

(Lazarsfeld,1944)


What is it about?

This theory makes sure that the ideas are transmitted clearly through mass media to influencers who in turn reinterpret the message and propagate it to the public. This theory relies on the perception and attitudes of an influencer.

Below you’ll see an imagine which will help you get the picture. 


If you are thinking that this theory is why influencers are paid by companies to advertise a product. Well, you’re correct!


This whole scenario is called Influencer Marketing

As we all know, marketing is about spreading ideas. Nowadays, thanks to the web companies are blessed with a large choice of how to spread out ideas. In certain instances using a social influencer to spread a message is more powerful than paying for advertisements. 


WHY?

Because the social influencers are seen as a trustworthy from their followers.
