This is our Team. How did we become one? You might think there is this elaborate story of how everything came to be, but to be frank… we had to act fast once assigned a group project. So the seven of us put our minds together to create what we think is a very relevant concept in 21st century media communications, and before we knew it.. our team was born.
From our entries you will get a further understanding of what people define the Selfie as. We will be looking at regular users’, company’s and influencers’ perspectives on the selfie. We will also be giving some literature on the selfie and how this has changed over the past few years.

I am Christine! I am 21-years-old from Dingli who found my true passion in Journalism. I have been working as a part-time journalist for two years and aspiring to improve upon myself in this sector. I am currently studying Bachelor of Communications (Honours), mainly focusing on journalism. In my free time I love travelling and watching movies.
I am Janica! I am a 21-year-old extreme animal lover who loves unplanned adventures, travelling and I have had a passion for photography since a very young age. I’m studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Communications at the University of Malta. I’m currently working with a company as a marketing executive. Also, I am especially fascinated by the digital aspect of marketing and loves to utilize data to create an incredible client experience.
I am Louise! I am 22 years old with a love for the water. I currently play WaterPolo at a competitive level while finishing my last year in my Bachelor Degree in Communications Studies (Honours) with English. I’m a very driven and competitive person, love setting up goals and working hard to achieve them. I try to take every situation as it comes and when faced with a problem I believe to take a deep breath and“Improvise. Adapt. Overcome”.
I am David! I am from Pembroke, Malta. I am 21 years old and currently studying at the University Of Malta within the course of Bachelor in Communications with European Studies (Honours) and work primarily in the media sector. These being as a camera person with ONE Group and as a radio host with 89.7Bay — Eden Leisure Group. My hobbies consist of photography, travelling abroad, scouting & camping and student activism.
I am Rosa! I am Italian. My family is my priority in life. Studying for my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. Love for beauty since I was young. I have a passion for strategic management. Currently working as a Marketing Executive & Accountant. I am very ambitious & I love a challenge. My motto is “Work hard till you don’t have to introduce yourself anymore
I am Andrea! Travel, movies, pizza, football fanatic. Italo-Maltese. This is me in a nutshell. I am 22 years old, studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with Italian at the University of Malta. Careerwise I’m into broadcasting, and I’m currently involved in the production of weekly TV magazine programme Dot EU on Television Malta.
I am Alyx! I am 22 years old and my passion is working and socialising with people at events. I currently work at Marketlink Ltd as an administrative assistant as well as studying full time to get my Bachelors in Communications Honours. When I have some free time I am out with my friends or dreaming about planning my next holiday. Travelling is one of my favourite past times. I live my life by keeping this in mind “work hard so you can travel the world”.
